She graduated Summa Cum Laude in Social Communication from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). A Chevening fellow, she graduated with Honors from the Master's Degree in Environment and Development Policy from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. Virginia has more than twelve years of professional experience in the areas of journalism, communication for development, education, as well as social, political and environmental activism. She is the founder of the educational channel La Guía Política, which produces videos on politics and Dominican history, as well as the alternative training space "The Political School" (Escuela Política).
